Behavioural and Social Skills

At Caterpillar Care Centre, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, express emotions appropriately, and thrive in social environments.

Our Behavioural & Social Skills Program is designed for children who may face challenges with self-regulation, emotional expression, or social interaction.

This program draws from evidence-based approaches such as Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Social Thinking Framework, and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), ensuring a structured, nurturing, and supportive environment.

Program Objectives

  • Improved cooperation at home and school.

  • Increased ability to make and keep friends.

  • Enhanced self-esteem and resilience.

At Caterpillar, we celebrate progress – whether it’s a child saying “please” for the first time, joining a group game, or learning to calm themselves when upset.
